As for the secretive thing- well, there were a lot of things he didn’t want to talk about, so it was kind of hard to get to know someone while trying to completely avoid certain topics in order not to be questioned about them. “I apologize if I do not appear very open. But, it is nice to meet you too!”

“Like what? What’d be a good reason to not give out your name?” You just really don’t get that, but hey, he probably had a few good explanations for that. He’d know better than you, probably. “But you’re a stranger. Strangers don’t have to be as open anyways!”
